How to hid “Thank you for creating with WordPress” footer

The “thank you for creating with wordpress” footer sometimes floats over some of your plugin fields in the admin panel. It becomes super annoying when some of those fields become unclickable. Sorry wordpress, we have to remove your credit footer till it doesn’t pose a problem.

We can remove it using simple css trick. Add this piece of code to your functions.php:

/**
 * remove annoying footer thankyou from wordpress that stops people from entering text
 */
function hid_wordpress_thankyou() {
  echo '<style type="text/css">#wpfooter {display:none;}</style>';
}

add_action('admin_head', 'hid_wordpress_thankyou');

Note: For ajax request, its better to use the traditional style, ie using the script tag as woocommerce doesn’t execute the javascript that comes in from the ajax request if you use the woocommerce way.
